Each year Steel Valley Beacon Arts gets together with local artists, writers, poets and musicians and gives them the opportunity to present their work to a wider audience.
This event has been run under a number of banners, including 'Homeground' and 'Homebrew', but we have settled on HOMEGROWN over ther past couple of years and, as a result of the growing interest - both from those presenting their work and those coming along to enjoy and appreciate it - it has grown from a single evening's enertainment to a two-day FESTIVAL of the ARTS.

Guitar Showcase
Local Bandsin concert
Poetry and Pints
and also Street Dancing and Flower Arranging workshops (open to all)
